Day School

DogSense Obedience offers a two-part training program for young dogs.

The first part of the program is a two week period during which we train your dog for you. You drop your dog off at our training building each morning (Monday thru Friday) and pick up each afternoon no later than 5:00 PM. At the end of the first week you will attend a private lesson to review what we have taught your dog and go over the written homework assignment for the weekend. There is another similar private lesson at the end of the second week.

The second part of this program is a spot in a 7-week Beginners group class. Participation in this group class will ensure that your dog learns to obey you, and can work together with you as a team in a distracted environment. The dog will learn approximately 12 new words, some pertaining to behaviors we are getting rid of like; jumping up on you, excessive barking, chewing, etc., and some pertain to behaviors we are creating like walking on the leash without pulling, sit, down, come, stay, etc.

All dogs must be current on all vaccines (including a kennel cough vaccine within the past 6 months and canine influenza vaccine), must be internal parasite free, and must be on a flea/tick control like Frontline or Advantix.

The total cost of this program is $650. Day School spots are limited and require advance registration. For more information, please contact us.
